Migratory Bird Hunting on Sunday in North Carolina

Responsive Management recently completed a major multi-phase research study for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to assist in further informing the decision of whether to permit the hunting of migratory birds on Sunday in North Carolina. Responsive Management initiated the study by collecting qualitative data with North Carolina migratory bird hunters through focus groups and public meetings across the state. The next phase entailed a scientific survey of Harvest Information Program-certified hunters throughout North Carolina. Additional public input was collected through an online public forum designed and moderated by Responsive Management (such forums are an important means of collecting feedback from as many residents as possible).
